Feast of St. Jude Celebrated

The feast of St. Jude of Thaltej was celebrated on Sunday the 31st of October.  The preparation for the feast was a novena preached by Fr. Neville Fernandes. On an average around 400 faithful attended the novena every day.  The feast was celebrated with a Malayalam Mass at 11.a.m, an English Mass at 3.30 p.m., a procession at 5.p.m. and the main Mass at 6 p.m. celebrated by the Bishop of Ahmedabad Rt.Rev. Thomas Macwan.

Lectors installed

On the 5th of September 45 parishioners of St.Jude's Church, Thaltej were installed as lectors by Rt.Rev. Thomas Macwan, the Bishop of Ahmedabad.  Before the installation they underwent a training programme conducted by Rev. Frs. Vincent D'Souza and Aubrey Fernandes.
